14th – 15th International car rally “300 Lakes Rally“ in Zarasai city and Zarasai district
Zarasai region is unique of its landscape, containing over 300 lakes. That was the main reason why the rally was called “300 Lakes Rally”. Zarasai town is surrounded by seven lakes, that’s why the city is often called as the capital of bluish lakes. Zarasai region is the lakiest land in Lithuania.
The official rally opening ceremony will be held in the central square of Zarasai town and the Super Special Stage of “300 Lakes Rally” will be set up on the Great Island of Zarasas lake, where a parallel race with artificial jumps will start. Many cultural events, concerts, sport events of Zarasai take place on this island.

15th festivity of Zarasai city. Folklore festival “Þolinë“
The Assumption feast bells announce the end to the biggest event for farmers – rye harvesting. Following the service of Zarasai church, concerts of the amateurs from Lithuania and foreign countries ore given, the fair is held, everyone wishing to feast the way their forefathers did party until hours in the morning.
